Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line

The Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line one of the preferred adventures for couples and families alike.  The activities are numerous, and the travel times shorter than most cruises (2-3 days!).  While you will need valid documentation, this quick getaway offers the convenience and the title of “Florida’s Best and Most Flexible” cruise line.  It certainly makes for an excellent Bahamas vacation.

The Ship

The “Grand Celebration” is an 1800 person capacity ship.  There are 11 restaurants, bars, and lounges, and a crew of over 500!  With over 700 cabins and 9 passenger decks, there is plenty of room for its guests to roam around and maintain their elbow room.  The boat departs every other day, going from West Palm Beach, FL, to Grand Bahama Island.

Grand Celebration is complete with many things to do.  There is a full casino that offers Black Jack, Poker, and Slots.  There is a full menu Spa and fitness center.  Two pools and three jacuzzis should keep the amphibians occupied before finding music and dancing in the bars after dark.  For the family orientated, there are 3 levels of Kids Clubs, so no matter what the age of your child, they have you covered.  From the Late Night adult comedy shows to the souvenir and duty free liquor shop, Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line has you covered!

Although meals are all-inclusive, alcoholic beverages are not, so make sure you empty your piggy bank to score a few drinks after dinner.  There is internet aboard, for a small fee, and most cell phones will work under “roaming”.  You must have a passport if you wish to spend the night on one of the islands, and ID is mandatory.  A gratuity of $12.95 per day, per person, is added to your bill, as well as an 18% service charge on alcoholic beverages.  Keep these things in mind and pack a few extra dollars!

This cruise line is optimal for those who are unsure if they would like a longer cruise, or if you need a quick “get away” from the stresses of life.  There are a ton of amenities and activities, and you simply cannot go wrong for the price.  It certainly makes for an excellent Bahamas vacation.  If you happen to go, make sure you tell us about your trip.  Enjoy!
